Karur sits on the banks of the Amaravathi river in Tamil Nadu — one of India's great textile clusters, where cotton has been spun, woven, dyed and stitched for more than five centuries. NIRMAA has been a small part of that story since 1988 — three generations of the same family, still making things here.
